I wouldn’t say no to the view in the first pic for the next few days!

I’m not sure what it is but there’s something about the office in the second pic. It feels very grown up but still sort of quirky and I love the colour of the two Eileen Gray chairs.

I’m loving the colour palette of the third pic. Wood and blue just seem to pop when together.

The space in fourth pic is to die for. I would love it to be my office/studio space, I’d never want to leave work.

The last pic is a superb space for entertaining and I do have a thing for marble in kitchens and bathrooms at the moment.

Have a great weekend.

I do love a good loft and this is a beauty. The space just looks so laid back and effortless with it’s concrete floors, wood panelled walls and designer pieces scattered around. The ultimate in open plan living.

How was your weekend? We made a flying visit to London Town on Saturday for David’s belated Christmas work get together.

We didn’t have much time so after checking into our hotel, which was a couple of minutes walk from Buckingham Palace, we headed over to the South Bank. It was an enjoyable and refreshing walk (it was rather cold) across Waterloo Bridge towards The National Theatre. I do love the ecclectic atmosphere around there with the incredible stark concrete brutalism of the National Theatre, the graffiti, the street art and The Southbank Centre amongst other delights.

I had my eye on an original print in the Southbank Centre shop by Paul Catherall. After much indecision (justifying the price to myself) and a coffee and a lemon tart in between, I bought it. As soon as I get it framed I will take a few pics and reveal it in all it’s glory.

In the evening we had Champagne in Claridges and then a fantastic meal in the private dining room of Quilon which is a Michelin star restaurant.

All in all a very enjoyable weekend.

It’s begun. The build up to the much anticipated sixth season of  Mad Men is in full force after the return date of April 7th was announced.

What has become of our favourite characters? Who’s with who? What year is it? (apparently there is a jump in time to 1969). Will it still be ‘Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce’ after the demise of Lane Pryce (played by the marvelous Jared Harris)?

Speculation will be rife over the next few months especially after these ridiculously gorgeous new promo shots were released.

I’m counting the days…
