I had never grouped my Eames chairs together before, I nearly broke my neck taking the one from above! I’m sure I have room for a few more somewhere…

A new occasional feature about what has caught my obsessive beady eye. A check list of gorgeousness if you like of what keeps me awake at night because I simply must have them ( eventually ) and how they will look and where they will go in our apartment…

1. Photographic lamp base and shade ( I’m thinking for the loft….) Habitat

…when I happened across this chair on Flickr and then Mid Century Modernist I thought I knew every Eames chair that had ever been designed but no not this little beauty. It’s the ES 102 Intermediate Swivel Arm Chair which was unleashed on the world in 1968 but was discontinued five years later because of high production costs. So it’s super rare and uber spenny but the hunt is on for one…sigh…
