I’m in love with my new Apple Magic Mouse! It really is magic because it has no scolley ball like the other one I had which used to get clogged with dirt and not work properly….so annoying! It’s all touch sensitive and so far has worked like a dream, I just want to keep scrolling through pages and look on in wonder and it looks so beautiful! *sigh*…

Well after the chatter about who has the bigger addiction in this household David has gone and treated himself to yet more gadgets! This time it is the rather beautiful looking Sonos Touch Screen Controller and the Sonos ZP90 Zonplayer which for those who haven’t come across them before are for playing music around the home wirelessly. Apparently it plugs into the amp in the lounge and away you go, it’s probably not that simple but David sorts that kind of thing out and I just sit back and enjoy the benefits! We will be able to add more wireless speaker thingy wotsits in other rooms in the apartment and have the same or different music playing in each room which will be great for parties. It will be with us tomorrow so David is beside himself with excitement and he even paid slightly more so that he could get it delivered sooner! So do we need one?….no! Am I pleased that he has bought one? ….yes! Am I pleased that he is addicted to gadgets?….Sometimes….maybe…oh OK then yes I am!
Why do the things we expect to go smoothly never do?? Well i have made a start and it is going well so far apart from some damaged doors in transit, I have had to sort out some different legs (thanks to a very kind friend on the Livingetc forum who found some spare ones which will fit in her garage and she has posted them to me today!!!) because the plinths wont fit properly. I like the metal leg look but it’s time for a change. I phoned the helpline today after being told by the store that I would have to wait six weeks for the replacement doors and he said I will have them next Wednesday!!! Very good service! I’m also missing twelve plastic plugs for the wall cupboard doors! They have changed the way the door is attached to the spring hinges and they didn’t include any but they are posting some to me. Then there was David who “helped” me to attach a side panel to the sink unit today and decided to move the spoon which was keeping it level (it was the only thing I could find which raised it just enough!! LOL)…..strange really because he never usually decides to pick up something and put it away for me!!??? More pics as it progresses….
It’s here!!!!!!!! Yes finally the day has arrived and the new kitchen is in my hands!!! I’m so excited that I feel quite nauseous! As you can see there are boxes everywhere and I have included a shot of the drawer fronts in all their glory. I’m very impressed with the look and quality of it and I cannot wait to get it all done now. I will keep you all posted with pics along the way and now I’m off to start pulling things apart!!! WOO HOO!!!
