I took these photos on our recent trip to New York at MoMA, I had to go round twice just to make sure I hadn’t missed anything! I especially loved the Eames Child’s Chair above designed in 1945.

Merry Christmas! Well it is for me, my Christmas present from David arrived today and it’s gorgeous! I am extremely pleased with it and I can’t believe I actually have one at last. Now I can try to make a decision on the flooring for the loft and match it to the two Eames chairs, I’m sort of close to a final choice! I think I shall name this week National Chair week…
My second parcel has arrived, a gorgeous Eames swivel shell chair which I bought on Ebay for £100 !! I have been on the look out for one for my loft for ages and I couldn’t be happier. The fabric needs a bit of a clean but other than that it is in great condition. Even more incentive to get the loft finished. Oh happy days…
It was my birthday on Tuesday and I had an absolutely fantastic day thanks to my partner David and my family and friends……thank you all !!! It was all topped off by my Eames lounger birthday cake above……I was quite literally gobsmacked!!!
