Some inspiration with a mid-century vibe for the weekend. I’m seriously thinking about a wall of wood behind my desk in the loft similar to what we have in our bathroom. I will be sorting out yet more rubbish this weekend for my big trip (or two!!!) to the tip next week!

You know when someone asks you who would you like to invite to a dinner party alive or dead, well I would love to be able to invite Charles and Ray Eames. I’m sure the other guests ( Kenneth Williams, Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol, Madonna and Stephen Fry ) would be bored stupid with me talking about chairs all night but hey it’s my dinner party after all! I’ll just have to make do with looking at these Eames chairs instead. Who would you invite?……
Following on from the gorgeous green post this is most definitely GORGEOUS!!!! I missed a rocker in the exact same green on Evilbay a few months ago and I was distraught! This fine example is in Kim’s office of Desire to Inspire and I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw it…..Via madebygirl
I’m not sure what to do with the wall behind the bed!?? I think I want to paint it a colour but I’m really not sure??
The orange cushions will be going because I am having some rectangular cushions made using some original 70’s material that I bought on Evilbay (hint hint Likklesis!!!). I have a few colours in mind like grey, sage green, yellow ochre or black…..or just leave it white! Me…indecisive!??! That’s what being a Libran does for you! I’m very pleased with our new Componibili units though.
